The application forms can be obtained from
the Registrar's Office, on payment of
Rs.60/- in cash or by Bank Demand Draft,
drawn in favour of the Registrar,
Avinashilingam Institute for
Home Science and Higher Education for Women,
Coimbatore - 43, together with a
self-addressed stamped envelope (23 x 10 cms
size) for Rs.15/-. Scheduled Caste and
Scheduled Tribe Candidates belonging to
Tamil Nadu can get the prospectus and
application form by paying 50% of cost of
application on production of an attested
copy of the Community Certificate and the
Degree Course completion certificate. A
Separate application form must be used for
each of the courses. Attested copies of
all the mark sheets should be attached to
the application form. Application should be
sent to the Registrar, on or before
18.05.2012.

Documents to be
submitted
The following documents must be submitted in
original at the time of Interview and
admission, failing which admission will be
refused.
1. Higher Secondary Examination mark
sheet / Pre-Degree mark sheet, Degree mark
sheet and Degree, Diploma
Certificate (B.Ed./ Degree Mark sheet and
Degree,
Diploma certificate for M.Ed. Admission).
2. Transfer Certificate.
3. Conduct Certificate from the Head of
the Institution in which the candidate last
studied.
4. Migration Certificate.
5. Community Certificate from the relevant
government departments of the respective
states in the case of SC / ST / OBC and
Denotified Tribes and
6. Medical Fitness Certificate from the
Govt. Civil Surgeon.
Admission is strictly subject to verification
of original mark sheets. If the original mark
sheets are found to be bogus at any point of
time, the authorities reserve the right to
cancel the admission and take criminal action
against the candidate as per rules.
