The department of Textiles & Clothing organised the
5th edition of the International conference on Advances
in Textiles, Machinery, Nonwoven and Technical
Textiles(ATNT 08) in collaboration with Texas Tech
university, USA. A unique and significant feature of
this conference was the presentation of TechniTex Awards
to leading policy makers and researchers in the field of
Technical Textiles. About 400 participants
attended the conference. Over 125 papers were presented
involving countries such as USA, Germany, Singapore,
China, Hong Kong and Angola
