About Us …
The Centre for Manufacturing and Emerging Technologies (CMET) facility is created in Campus II (Ayya Avinashilingam Nagar, Varapalyam, Coimbatore - 641108) with around 2500 square feet. The center has contemporary equipment, machinery, design software and testing facilities. The center will cater to carry out research activities, consultancy and product development in the emerging areas.

To create research facility of highest caliber by providing value-driven, real-world solutions, which will enable university to acquire, manage, and execute educationally relevant and economically sound research programs.
Mission
- To develop and implement a research strategy that promotes Avinashilingam Institute as a leading hub for scholarly training in biomedical instrumentation.
- To lead, integrate, and deliver multidisciplinary research and development solutions in food processing, communication technology and printing technology to meet customer commitments on time and at cost.
- To excel in all aspects of materials & computer engineering, so as to develop globally competitive and eco-friendly technologies in energy, environment, health and materials conservation.
