Center for Cyber Intelligence

About the Center

Cyber Security has become a major challenge due to increased usage of Internet and Mobile Devices for personal applications and professional activities. Application of Internet of Things in Smart City and Smart Industrial applications have challenged the entire digital system through sophisticated cyber-attacks on Information Technology (IT) infrastructures. Many Cyber Frauds and Scams are also on the rise affecting the common man when they start using the digital facilities without proper training and awareness. To use the electronic devices and Internet safely and securely to the benefit of the individuals, IT infrastructures must become resilient against the threats and vulnerabilities that are intelligent. Hence, there is a need for application of Artificial Intelligence in developing solutions and handling the threats in an effective manner. Orientation, training and interactions with the leading scientific organizations and the industrial organizations who are actively involved in developing solutions are essential to prepare the young talents towards Cyber Intelligence. Organizing capacity building programmes to handle and manage the risks are the need of the hour for the younger generation and for Nation Building activities.
